Beer Hall Putsch- Another Historians account
http://www.pearlharbor.org/ i learned about how on the date of December 7th, 1941, the Japanese naval fleet invaded pearl harbor and destroyed almost the entire u.s. fleet. If it wasn't for the fact that the u.s. aircraft carriers weren't there, the entire u.s. naval fleet would have been destroyed. Which would leave the u.s. extremely vulnerable to attack from sea. After destroying all the u.s. naval ships in pearl harbor, the Japanese naval fleet decided to fall back, even though they still had enough power and supplies to continue the attack straight through to u.s. soil.
